btw, manchester united fans always face a stereotype of being only fans who jumped on the bandwagon..i wud like to stress that there A LOT A LOT of genuine fans out there who have been following this team for 10 years, and who still support them even when they did not win the championship..i hate it when pple ask u "which team u supporting?" and when u answer "man utd", they give u this "oh another glory-hunter" look and presume u r not a real football fan..
fuck that lah
which reminds me, some of the people i talk to didnt even watch football until like 4, 5 years ago? where were the legions of "Blackburn fans" when they won the league in 1995? i see so many of them walking along the streets of orchard during that time, but when they got relegated, i dun see a single fucking blackburn jersey being worn..i do have a fren who supported them even when they were in division 1, and i respect that...but dun come and talk cock about man utd when u dun even know and support yr own team well
which reminds me also...u see so many new arsenal and chelsea fans popping up these daes, and the reason being again? coz they are winning trophies and doing well in the league
what bout liverpool? the vast majority of pool fans also arised because of their illustratious history esp in the 1970s and 1980s..
my pt is, it is natural to support a team who is doing well and playing attractive football..unless you are like my two geopolitics lecturerers, (one is born in newcastle, hence a geordie fan, the other a west brom fan) stop yr typical stereotyping for fuck sake yeah..
