we are in the semi-finals!!!!! yeah man!!!!!

a last minute goal from irfan sealed the victory. Medicine led 1-0 at a stage, when our keeper made a mistake and they scored from the only shot of their match. Basically they camped in their own half for the entire match and played a defensive game..prob fighting for a draw which would lead to a penalty shoot-out, which is the last bloody thing that we want, coz a shoot-out is all based on luck.

ben scored 10 minutes into the second half, which was a huge relief to all of us..and then in the final minute of the game, irfan scored with the first and only touch of his game! everyone was like damn happy and excited lah! coz we kept pressing and pressing but just couldnt get the killer goal.

on a personal note, i wasnt very satisfied with my own performance. Was subsituted at half-time. Cocked up with 2 bad free-throws. Felt i did ok with my attacking runs, but was honestly very tired after a long dae. Havent had a good rest the past few days prior to sat, and then woke up damn early for Futsal Open. Was refereeing and helping out for the entire dae till the evening match..so much that by the time we were warming up for the game, i already felt that i wasnt in the best physical condition, and my ankle's giving me problems again, but like what alex wud say, you just wanna play in the biggest games man.

every competitive player would tell u they strive to play in every match, if not what the fuck u join a competition for. Really felt i could have done better, but the important thing is the team won, and we got thru. Thats the most important thing. Anyway, i cant look back now, there's still the next game with bizad on wed. One more win, and we ll be thru to the final. And in a final, anything can happen.

sometimes...i wonder how my life would have turned out if i had continued with e soccer team in jc....

anyway thanks to all who came down to help in Futsal Open!! :p coz of the unfortunate rain some matches were postponed so next sat will conclude them.

got one last ps essay due on thurs. After that shiok oredi lah! I have always said that i looked very much foward to this sem's exams, becoz that means FOP coming, Arts camp coming, and 3 months of holidaes!
