HERE COME THE BIG GUNS

i am absolutely delighted and honoured to have been invited to another dialogue with community leaders on Singapore's External Relations, organized by the PAYM. It ll be on this Sat at the Meritus Mandarin Hotel, where the panel would consist of Cabinet members Professor Jayakumar (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Law), Mr George Yeo (Minister for Foreign Affairs), Mr Mah Bow Tan (Minister for National Development), and Dr Ng Eng Hen (Minister for Manpower and 2nd Minister for Defence).

Needless to say, i am really excited and looking foward to the event, especially as this is the 1st time where i have the opportunity to engage 4 high-profile and Cabinet Ministers all at the same time. Furthermore, i have read, analyzed, and discussed a lot in many PS modules regarding this topic, and would be most keen to hear 1st hand about what Prof Jayakumar and Mr George Yeo have to say with regards to the ASEAN Charter.

Also have a pre-Conference briefing on Monday by OSA with regards to the Global Youth Symposium in KL. I ll prob be leaving for KL 1 week after the exams, which gives me relatively little time to prepare for the conference. But i ll sure make do, and give the best i can in representing NUS. =) It makes me really excited when i think of the chance to rub shoulders and exchange views with students from some of the world's best universities.
