SO SO PYSCHED UP!!!!
I am SO SO PYSCHED UP!!!
Not over tom's MNO exam of coz but towards tonight's Man U clash with Milan!! Ooohh..i cant wait man! I can still rem the xianness of losing 1-0 2 years ago, how painful and terribly xian i felt the next dae.
Anyway, i watched Barack Obama's famous "One-America" speech at the National Democratic Convention 2004 on Youtube last night, and i must say, he reminds me so much of The Rock. Haha, for his flamboyance, charisma, tough-talking, and ability to connect with the crowd. I m not sure if anyone notice, but he exacts many similiar phrases to Martin Luther King's famous "I have a dream" speech. What makes it more impressive was that he wasnt even reading from a script at all. He was just going on and on by himself, and exacted wonderful responses from the crowd. I wont be surprised if he storms the White House and become the next American President if he can use his charisma and brillant oratory abilities to great and widespread effect.
And then i went on to watch many tributary videos of Ronald Reagan. You just got to watch him speak and on video to see how witty, humourous and charismatic he really was.
Not many people, even my closest friends, noe that I watch and dissect a lot a lot of famous speeches made in history, besides quotes of coz. Frankin Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, John F Kennedy, Martin Luther King, S Rajaratnam, etc..and now maybe i should add Barack Obama to the list. I think there's a lot to be learnt from watching and observing how these legendary people deliver their speeches and how they inspire people in the process.
